Applications are invited for the post of Teaching Associate in Biomedical Engineering. Successful candidates will demonstrate an enthusiasm for education and a commitment to the development of Biomedical Engineers with specific focus on Biomechanics. 

Applicants must have at least a lower second-class degree in an engineering or equivalent discipline, hold or be near completion of a PhD in biomechanics or a related area and ideally some relevant industrial experience. Experience in human motion and gait analysis using Vicon systems is desirable. Proficiency in Ansys, Mimix, Solidworks, Labview, Matlab or C like programming would be valued.

The successful applicant will be expected to teach and assess students using a variety of formats including lectures, tutorials, clinics and dissertations, to set and mark exam papers and attend relevant meetings.
