ABOUT THE POST
The Student Systems team forms part of Academic Quality and Student Administration within Student Services. The team works with colleagues across Student Services and the wider University according to an annual cycle of activities.
We are seeking to recruit a Student Systems Officer within the Student Systems team. The post holder will contribute to the sustainability and growth of the University through ensuring that data is correctly and consistently recorded on the Student Records System (SITS) in order to provide accurate and timely reporting to the Higher Education Statistics Agency (HESA).
The post holder will also contribute to the positive experience and successful outcomes for students by providing support and guidance to staff on the use of SITS in respect of the student journey.
They will be expected to ensure that, in all aspects of work, they operate within, and adhere to, both the University’s regulations and associated requirements and any relevant external requirements.
The post holder will work collaboratively with the Student Systems Manager and other managers on key business processes and operational planning for the unit. They will have wide ranging contacts across the University and externally, acting as an ambassador for the institution with external education and professional bodies.
