An exciting opportunity to join the Business Intelligence team within the Strategic Planning & Analytics Group, helping to support broader institutional ambitions around data and management information. You will contribute to the success of the University by designing, developing, and delivering Business Intelligence solutions; from eliciting and defining stakeholder needs, to delivering solutions and ongoing support and maintenance. You will be influential in identifying the correct platform and tools to deliver data warehousing, analytic platforms, and data visualisations, requiring you to keep abreast of the latest technology related to BI and be able to suggest and support change as necessary.
You’ll be an innovative, delivery focused individual with relevant experience in data warehousing / modelling (Kimball) and optimisation, with a solid understanding of ETL processes. You’ll be familiar with Power BI data models and reports, including DAX, and ideally Cloud BI tools (ADF, etc), although training will be provided. Advanced knowledge of SQL is essential. You’ll be confident engaging with all levels of stakeholders, with the ability to translate and communicate technical themes into understandable solutions. You’ll also have experience of delivering projects in an Agile framework.
