What you’ll be doing

  • Setting up online assessments using data reports
  • Releasing assessment information to students
  • Assisting students taking their exams with any procedural and technical queries
  • Delivering online invigilation
  • Preparing and running of face-to-face exams
  • Booking and training invigilators
  • Producing system reports as requested
  • Dealing with students’ enquiries by email, phone and via online portal
  • Ensuring deadlines are met throughout the processes
  • Participating in training and professional development associated with the role
  • Undertaking all duties and responsibilities in compliance with the rules and regulations encompassing equal opportunities

What we’re looking for

  • Experience of working in a professional academic support team
  • Digitally literate – Possessing excellent IT skills such as ability to use MS Work, PowerPoint, Outlook and particularly Excel
  • Experience in using online assessment software would be an added advantage
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Proven communication skills both written and verbal
  • Ability to prioritise a diverse and demanding workload to often competing deadlines in a calm manner
  • Good organisational and time-management skills
  • Experience managing pressure and prioritising a diverse, demanding workload
  • Understanding to interpret and apply academic regulations and policies and apply to own work
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Confident approach to both teamwork and independent working
  • Good IT skills
