The Faculty of Science and Health has a vacancy for a Specialist Technician within the School of Biological Sciences. The principal responsibility of the post is to provide high quality technical support for student activities, research and innovation using knowledge of biological sciences. Previous experience in biophysics, molecular biology or developmental biology is essential.
The successful candidate will provide assistance with the maintenance of equipment and materials in support of colleagues and students of the School. They will be a team player with the ability to use their own initiative. Professionalism, the ability to maintain high standards and follow procedures with a commitment to providing the highest quality of service to staff and students is essential.
