When you join BU, you become a part of a learning community that strives to make an impact on the world around us – aiming for a more sustainable, inclusive and healthy society. Our motto is to learn is to change and it's a principle that runs through everything we do. By joining us you will be provided with opportunities in your personal and professional development to help you thrive and achieve your full potential.
In this role and as part of a team of high performing professional experts, you will work in collaboration with the wider HR and OD team to further develop BU through delivery of an efficient high quality, professional and strategic service aligned to BU2025, the University’s values and faculty and service needs. You will be a Chartered member of the CIPD and have substantial experience of HR and OD at a senior level within a complex unionised environment. With credibility and excellent interpersonal skills, you will have the ability to successfully influence at all levels. A proven track record encompassing significant complex employee relations issues, organisational design and change and delivery of measurable improvements in service quality are essential, together with a flexible, proactive approach and ability to achieve results through personal initiative.
