Background
The Digital team is responsible for overseeing the development and promotion of City’s external website and for related activities around our broader digital presence, including our relationship with third-party sites, CRM, our social media strategy and presence on social platforms.
Bayes Business School (formerly Cass) is among the small group of business schools with an established reputation for excellence in both business research and education.
Responsibilities
You will be expected to maximise the potential of Bayes' social media channels to support delivery of the School's social media strategy. You will be responsible for the day to day running and planning content for the relevant School social media channels and using social media monitoring tool (Hootsuite) to create monthly analytics reports. You will use your creative skills to devise and create engaging content for posts, such as graphics, short films and student/staff interviews. As Bayes' social media expert, you will advise the marketing team on the best use of social media to achieve organisational aims and know when to alert senior managers to issues that may impact Bayes reputation.
Person Specification
You will have in-depth knowledge of social media platforms, their respective users and how they can be used in a professional capacity. Experience in creating creative, engaging digital content is required (copy, photos, videos etc) and professional experience using Adobe Creative Suite. You will have excellent interpersonal skills and will enjoy working as part of a close knit team. In addition, you will have a proven ability to use initiative and be creative and pro-active to suggest and develop new ideas.
