We have a new role within the Academic Quality Service at Middlesex University, based in north London, for a Quality Enhancement Manager to join our team and lead the day-to-day support for the operation of quality assurance and enhancement procedures at Faculty level. The post will also act as lead on the enhancement and monitoring of the University’s quality systems for Apprenticeship programmes.
The postholder will therefore liaise closely with Faculty colleagues and the University’s Centre for Apprenticeships and Skills to ensure that quality assurance and enhancement processes and policies relating to all programmes are implemented, monitored and reviewed. As well as acting as a point of contact for academic staff and managing quality committees, the post holder will manage and Officer a number of in-house and/or collaborative validation and review events. The postholder will also line manage a member of administrative staff.
You will have extensive experience of higher education quality procedures, including validation and review, and of managing staff. You must have proven ability to organise and prioritise, and to work proactively in taking delegated tasks through to completion, with an eye for detail.
This role is for applicants who have extensive experience in quality assurance and enhancement systems within Higher Education, and/or in the delivery of apprenticeships. You will also be required to be proactive, have excellent organisation and communication skills, and be able to network and liaise with multiple stakeholders.
