In the Office of Development & Alumni Relations (ODAR), our job is to galvanise our community to solve these challenges and to make a difference. To learn more about working in the ODAR team, have a look at our Join ODAR website.
Sitting within ODAR, the Engagement & Advancement Events team is responsible for an annual programme of events – delivered online and in person - designed to develop and strengthen relationships with university alumni and supporters. In addition, we are responsible for delivering several high-profile wider University events – from the annual Vice-Chancellor Awards ceremony to the Staff Party.
The role
Reporting to the Head of Events, the successful postholder will manage their own varied portfolio of events including activity that will develop and grow key relationships with our civic and corporate audiences, events to enhance our staff and student communities as well as events linked to our university fundraising opportunities providing a platform to cultivate and thank our amazing donors and supporters.

This role is based at our lively Highfield campus, although most of the team work on a hybrid basis so your time can be split between working remotely from home and catching up with colleagues on campus.
