Applications are invited for the following post:
Enterprise & Innovation Officer
Leeds Trinity University is looking to expand our external business engagement and impact through external work. We are now seeking a new team member to support the delivery of Research, Innovation & Knowledge Exchange activities across the University and expand our external engagement and impact through external work.
The postholder will work closely with Business Development colleagues to co-ordinate external enquiries, linking these to Faculties and Schools across the University, as well as proactively promoting the external ‘offer’ including Knowledge Transfer Partnerships, Continuing Professional Development, short courses, contract research, consultancy, and facilities, and the impact of successful collaborations. The postholder will also provide administrative support to aid the brokerage of external partnerships and income, develop systems for the organisation and reporting of projects, and support the development of external work through staff development and the enhancement of existing processes.
The successful candidate should have strong proven administrative skills and experience; previous experience in the Higher Education sector, experience in knowledge exchange, would also be a distinct advantage. Suitable candidates would be able to demonstrate the ability to exercise initiative and have excellent communication and IT skills (to include MS Office). The ability to work as part of a team is a critical aspect of the role, as is a professional and flexible approach to work and excellent organisational and liaison skills.
This role will be located at Leeds Trinity University campus in Horsforth, Leeds. Through our agile working framework, there will also be the option to spend some time working remotely, which will be discussed further with candidates at interview.
Interviews for this post are expected to take place on Monday 14th March 2023
