Based on a collaborative, open approach to governance the co-operative will support organisations to improve the lives of LCR residents while driving economic growth in health tech and digital sectors in the region.
This LCR Civic Data Cooperative (CDC) seeks not only to develop a new data resource but a new type of environment with transparent governance that reflects the legal and ethical obligations to enable linkage of civic health data from multiple sources. This will give a bigger picture of health and wellbeing across LCR, while preserving residents’ privacy and respecting their preferences for data uses.
The CDC is looking to appoint a Senior Data Engineer focussed on delivering the technical environment within CDC to enable the data capture and linkage required for the Children Growing up in Liverpool (C-GULL) programme.
