An exciting opportunity has arisen to lead a Pre-award Research Support Team supporting the departments of Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics and WMG within the Faculty of Science, Engineering & Medicine. Working as part of the wider Research & Impact Services department, the role holder will be responsible for providing high quality support across research grants and contracts to researchers from across the Faculty.
Line managing a team of six research support practitioners, the position would suit an individual with experience in supporting research in a university setting, with familiarity with research contracts being essential.
Research & Impact Services is a friendly and supportive department that offers much opportunity for professional development – if you are experienced in research grants and contracts work and have an aptitude for leading and inspiring teams, we are keen to hear from you.
Candidates are asked to note that, subject to the easing of national lock-down measures, R&IS returned to campus in September 2021. R&IS is presently trialling hybrid working and candidates should therefore expect to be located on campus a minimum of three days a week.
Informal enquires can be directed to Dr Navdeep Bains, Director of Research & Impact Services at N.K.Bains@warwick.ac.uk
