The role
We seek an enthusiastic and experienced Health and Safety Manager to join our team to be the main point of contact for information, advice, and guidance on all matters relating to specialist health and safety matters across the Moredun Group (i.e. the governing Charity, the Research Institute, and the commercial-facing subsidiaries).
The post holder will be required to support all levels of employees in order to achieve legislative compliance and to implement effective occupational health and safety management systems across the organisation. The role covers a diverse range of working environments including laboratories adhering to Level 2 and 3 containment levels, engineering (light fabrication and repairs) and agricultural facilities.
You will need to have excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills with ability to influence others.
