Hours of Work: Full-time (1.0fte) – 2 posts available
We are looking to appoint enthusiastic, collaborative, high performing members of staff to contribute to our professional policing programmes. We currently deliver the Police Constable Degree Apprenticeship (PCDA) and the Graduate Diploma in Professional Policing Practice (the ‘Degree Holder Entry programme’ - DHEP) in partnership with West Yorkshire Police. We are expanding our provision to include undergraduate and post graduate programmes and the roles will assist in their delivery. We invite candidates from a range of professional and academic backgrounds including police studies, criminology, and other social sciences, with flexibility on the type of contract we can offer to suit applicants with different backgrounds and requirements.
These posts will contribute to the development and delivery of the programmes. The ability to teach core areas across all levels is essential. We welcome applications from candidates who have research backgrounds in a related area of study, or the equivalent in applied evidence-based practice in their professional experience. The ability to work as an effective team member, contributing to the provision of high-quality teaching across undergraduate and postgraduate levels, is essential.
These posts will provide ideal opportunities to support the further development of these areas of provision at Leeds Trinity University, contributing to teaching on our developing programmes in Criminology, Investigation and Policing, knowledge exchange (UT), and research activity and postgraduate studies (L). Further information about our courses can be found at: https://www.leedstrinity.ac.uk/study/work-based-learning/police-officer-education/

If an applicant wishes to be considered for more than one post, they should contact jobs@leedstrinity.ac.uk once they have submitted their application to advise of this. These posts will be subject to a West Yorkshire Police vetting check.
