We are looking for a Health and Safety Manager to promote and ensure a strong culture of health, safety, & wellbeing throughout the University. The role sits within the Inclusion and Wellbeing Team. You will ensure that staff Health and Safety is an enabled process throughout the University and that systems are in place to ensure compliance with legislation, policies, and codes of Practice. A key aspect of the role will be developing systems to demonstrate a process of continuous improvement in the management of Health and Safety. To succeed in this role, you’ll promote a culture of enablement, and demonstrate strong leadership skills in a matrix working environment. You’ll be comfortable working with data and metrics and building good working relationships with key contacts across the University. Your approach should be pragmatic whilst maintaining a safe working environment for the Middlesex Community. Middlesex is home to a diverse community of professionals.
