We’re looking to appoint two ambitious and motivated Recruitment Advisors to support the University in attracting and appointing talented colleagues across all areas of the organisation.
The Recruitment Advisors lead on end-to-end recruitment activity across a range of academic and professional service areas, offering advice and guidance to managers to ensure our recruitment practices are innovative, effective, and that the University is able to attract and appoint high-quality candidates. Our Recruitment Advisors champion equality, diversity and inclusivity, and ensure these values are embedded in all recruitment and selection activity.
As well as a caseload of vacancies, each Recruitment Advisor has a project portfolio to support development of the recruitment service and practices at the University. The successful candidates can be expected to contribute to developing the University’s approach to candidate attraction and social media, ensuring a consistently excellent candidate experience, and compliance with areas such as DBS and UKVI. The Advisors manage their caseload and projects with relative autonomy under the guidance of the HR Manager, and are supported to deliver an outstanding recruitment service by a HR Administrator.
To be successful in this role, candidates will need to demonstrate experience of working in a recruitment consultant or in-house recruiter role, and demonstrate a clear understanding of how effective recruitment practice impacts on the wider organisation. You will need excellent relationship management skills, and the ability to communicate with a range of stakeholders confidently, succinctly and persuasively, whilst demonstrating tact and sensitivity where necessary.
The roles are currently offered on a blended-working basis with the opportunity for remote working approximately two days per week. Applications are welcome from candidates seeking the role on a part-time basis.
What’s in it for you?
From 1 August 2023, the salary range for this role will increase to £29,605 - £36,023, with the opportunity to progress to £39,348.
