This is an exciting opportunity to join the statistical team that has underpinned high profile, national reporting on intensive care during the COVID-19 pandemic. We are looking for a Statistician to provide statistical expertise to trial design and analysis in support of the delivery of our research portfolio through our UKCRC fully-registered Clinical Trials Unit and provide statistical support for our National Audit Programme, an umbrella of four national clinical audits managed by ICNARC.

The Intensive Care National Audit & Research Centre (ICNARC) is an independent, scientific, not-for-profit organization. Our scientific work helps improve the quality of critical care through audit, research and education, conducted with, and in the interests of, patients and those who care for them.
What you will need to succeed
Applicants must have: an MSc or PhD in Medical Statistics (or equivalent experience); experience in the analysis of routine health data and/or clinical trials; a good working knowledge of standard statistical software; and the ability to express technical information clearly.
