Oxford Brookes University is looking to recruit an experienced, reliable and highly motivated Monitoring & Evaluation Officer to undertake data processing and analysis on behalf of the Study Higher Team.
Oxford Brookes University is the Lead Institution for the Uni Connect programme covering Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire and Swindon. Funded by the Office for Students (OfS), the partnership is part of a nationwide programme that aims to provide programmes of collaborative outreach in specific, local areas where higher education participation is low overall and lower than would be expected with the intention of boosting participation rates in Higher Education by young people from disadvantaged backgrounds.
This post has been created to support the evaluation of learners’ experiences and attitudes from data gathered during Study Higher outreach activities. The post-holder will be responsible for overseeing the collection, processing, storage and cleaning of student data, and will support the Head of Study Higher and Monitoring and Evaluation Manager with analysis and evaluation of activity data. The post holder will also participate in the ongoing development and implementation of evaluation materials and approaches that enable the team and other colleagues to carry out relevant monitoring and evaluation of their own areas.
Qualifications and Experience for the post Monitoring & Evaluation Officer:
Experience of word processing and using spreadsheets, particularly Microsoft Excel. Experience of handling and analysing data and creating reports as part of research and/or evaluation.
Flexible working:
