The School of Art, Design and Performance is seeking to appoint a highly motivated, organised and well-connected graohic designer or illustrator to the role of Senior Lecturer - Course Leader in BA (Hons) Graphic Design and Illustration. The Graphic Design course has a long and successful history at Buckinghamshire New University and the more recently established Illustration course is growing in reputation. The two courses share key modules but have clear distinctive career pathways for the graduates.

The successful candidate should be able to evidence graphic design and/or illustration industry experience and have a track record of inspirational teaching at undergraduate level, in both practice and theory. Ideally the candidate should be able to teach across both graphic design and illustration courses and digital design experience would be desirable. As Course Leader, the appointee will provide the leadership required to maintain the organisation and ongoing development required to ensure the successful day-to-day running of the Graphic Design and Illustration courses and work closely with colleagues in a team.
