About the Role
We are looking for 4 dedicated and passionate full-time qualified Level 3 Early Years Practitioners to join our team at Queen Mary University of London Westfield Nursery. To provide high quality care and education for the children of the staff, students, and external community.
At Westfield Nursery Children are at the heart of our approach in everything that we do and aspire to. The nursery is a 65-place nursery. We are look for self-motivated creative individuals to help our dedicated staff team in maintaining an atmosphere that nurtures children under five.
About You
The successful candidate must have a recognised Early Years qualification, such as Level 3 Children and young people’s workforce Early Learning and Childcare. Or Level 3 Diploma for Children and Young People. A strong desire to make an impact on the lives of the children and their families. Good knowledge of children’s development under the age of five, a high standard of written and spoken English. Ensuring that the children in their care receive the proper education, engagement, and safety. To be able to handle young children with care and kindness, while anticipating their needs. You will be required to be cleared by the 'Disclosure and Barring Service’ for working with children.
About the Department
Westfield is a purpose-built nursery, with the capacity of 65 children from the ages of 3 months – 5years. We aim to give our children a structured environment where they are happy, settled, and in which to work and play. Our desire is to develop the individuality of each child that attends our nursery. Whereby they will leave us ready to become confident and independent learners.

The post is based at the Mile End Campus in London. It is full time (40 hours per week), permanent appointment. The starting salary will be Grade 2, in the range of £30,279 - £35,069 per annum, inclusive of London Allowance.
