The Communication Coordinator is responsible for the provision of effective and timely communication to staff and students using appropriate communication technologies to support the delivery of IT initiatives and services.
Contribute to the development of the IT Communications Strategy including collaboration with IT Business Partners, Faculties, and Professional Services to ensure the Communications Strategy is developed and reviewed to support the business requirements
To provide a communications service for IT operational, project and event activities to staff within IT and across the University
To review, maintain and advise on IT content published through iCity and other channels including the IT Service Desk
To co-ordinate with IT Senior Management Team and teams within IT to ensure consistency and quality of communication
To compose and distribute key messages across the organisation relating to IT including drafting concise and accurate briefings and preparing communications that make complex IT issues understandable
To provide a communications service for IT operational, project and event activities to staff within IT and across the University
To help deliver all existing communications mechanisms and support the development of new online and offline channels of communication
