Background
The post holder will manage a team of two Marketing Officers to deliver marketing and promotion across the undergraduate recruitment cycle.
This will include taking the lead on research and insights projects for the undergraduate recruitment market, the development of strategies and activity plans, managing the coordination of corporate wide UG advertising campaigns, and the delivery of all pre-application and post-application communications.
The team will also write copy for a range of channels including web, email and social media, as well developing and delivering content ranging from blogs to videos. In addition, the post holder will manage specific projects such as new platform development to student ambassador recruitment scheme.
Responsibilities
You will be responsible for promoting City to prospective undergraduate students through a series of innovative and integrated marketing initiatives. Key responsibilities include:
Marketing, recruitment and communications.
Data analysis and reporting.
Team management.
Support of online and on campus events.
Budget and project management.
Person Specification
Educated to degree level /Professional marketing qualification or equivalent professional experience.
Understanding and knowledge of the UK education system/ UG market and UCAS recruitment cycle.
Digital marketing knowledge and experience including advertising, social media, communications and content creation.
Organisational and analytical skills.
Team management.
