About the Role
In this complex and multifaceted role, the Business Manager will:
This will involve understanding the connectivity between the programmes of activity, how they are collectively being driven forwards, and how they complement each other and yet remain distinct. With an awareness of the bigger picture across Sanger and in the context of genomics and global health, the role will provide support to develop and implement proportional and pragmatic systems that facilitate the international-scale projects and partnerships necessary to become the world leader in delivering longitudinal genomic data on important pathogen and vector species.
About You
To excel in this role, you should have extensive experience in delivering a high-quality business management function.
You should be a highly organised, efficient, self-motivated, strategic thinker who is able to work independently in a dynamic environment with flexibility, adjusting to varying priorities and finding solutions to challenges that arise.
You will have experience in developing and maintaining strategic relationships and be comfortable working in a confidential environment, building effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of seniority.
Your personal qualities will include professionalism, personal drive, trustworthiness and the ability to work collaboratively.
Essential Skills
Salary: £52,000 to £62,800 dependent on experience.
