Your role as a Chef de Partie:
We are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable, and hardworking Chef de Partie, who has experience of working in a “Call order environment” has a keen eye for detail, excellent customer service skills, takes pride in their work and who enjoys working in a busy kitchen. You will have a passion for providing high quality food, will enjoy working as part of a team and have proven experience of working with various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and processes.
What’s in it for you
This position is offered on a permanent basis. The hours of work are part time, 35 hours per week, 5 days out of 7 to be arranged including evenings and regular weekends for 52 weeks of the year. Flexibility to work a range of shifts will be required.
Due to the current cost of living issues our rates of pay are under review and the university will seek to ensure staff are appropriately rewarded in line with local employers and national guidance, advertised rates such as the weekend working allowance is subject to review/ removal following the review.
