This role will be based on the university campus, with scope for it to be undertaken in a hybrid manner. We are also open to discussing flexible working arrangements.

Based in the Careers Service, you will work on a range of career mentoring initiatives, including leading the Nurturing Talent Mentor Scheme in support of the Careers Service strategy for student employability, student progression and success.
You will work collaboratively with staff across the University, our Alumni and Employers to ensure each mentoring relationship is positive and achieves specific career-focussed outcomes. You will be committed to supporting and meeting the needs of diverse student groups, with an understanding of issues related to widening participation and enabling success for diverse students in higher education. You will take a lead role in developing career mentoring opportunities to enable students to enhance their professional networks and employability skills.
You will have experience of building effective partnerships, and demonstrate a commitment to student success and to delivering a high level of customer service to a range of internal and external stakeholders. You will be sensitive and supportive in relation to the student experience and ensure that student voice and inclusive practice is at the centre of all we do.
The post will be based in the Careers Service, (normally located on the University of Leeds campus, but currently will be a hybrid of working on campus and remotely).
