Applications are invited for a Post-Doctoral Research Assistant position on the MRC-funded project: “Sex differences in interoception and mental health: an investigation across the menstrual cycle”. The position is for 3 years, starting on 1st January 2024 or soon thereafter.
This project provides the first test of the hypothesis that sex differences in interoception relate to sex differences in mood and common mental disorders, and the influence of the menstrual cycle on interoception. This project involves lab-based physiological assessment and remote physiological data collection. We are currently recruiting a team for this project, including a PhD student, and we are looking for a Post-Doctoral Research Assistant to join the team, who will take responsibility for designing and running the experimental remote and lab-based studies, data analysis, drafting of research papers, and results dissemination.

They should have experience in running and designing online- and –lab-based experiments and experience or skills relevant for collection, processing and analysis of physiological and longitudinal data using R/Python.
