The School of Sport & Wellbeing at Leeds Trinity University is looking to appoint two enthusiastic, collaborative, high performing members of staff to join our exciting and growing Society of Sports Therapists’ (SST) accredited Sports Therapy & Rehabilitation undergraduate programme team.
Applicants should be a graduate in a sports therapy-related subject, hold a relevant master’s degree, and, for the SL/SUT post, be a graduate member of the SST or equivalent body. Ideally, you will have recent experience in both practice and teaching in higher education (This might be especially relevant for people apply for the SUT/UT role).
In addition, you will provide pastoral and subject-specific student support, supervise projects and placements, and undertake administrative and managerial tasks associated with the above. You will also contribute where appropriate to research/knowledge exchange and/or professional practice and scholarship, commensurate to the nature of the post.
For those not holding a teaching qualification, support will be provided to undertake the in-house PGCertHE. Hours of work will be 35 hours (full-time post) and 17.5 hours (0.5fte post) per week and a degree of flexibility is expected. The University will consider all forms of flexible working arrangements. Working days will be agreed with the line manager, and will typically be Monday to Friday, but some evening and weekend work may be expected (as agreed with the line manager).
