Background

This exciting role presents an opportunity for a passionate individual committed to student experience to help support all of our students perform to their potential.

This role will involve working with our Health and Psychological Schools courses and directly supporting our Undergraduate/Pre-Registration programmes.

Responsibilities

The Course Officer will be a key member of School's Student and Academic Administration team, reporting to the Senior Course Officer.

This post is responsible for the daily administration of allocated programmes including academic support, student administration and assessment. This post is to ensure the provision of a proactive, efficient and professional service working closely with relevant professional and academic staff, particularly the Programme Director, in order to maintain and enhance the student experience.

Person Specification

The successful candidate will have experience of working in a busy customer focussed office environment, multi-tasking and dealing with people from a wide range of backgrounds.

They will also have excellent communication and organisational skills and will be able to work on their own initiative and as part of a team. A strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including experience of working with databases is essential. Experience with SITS/e:Vision is desirable.
