The Department of Arts and Humanities at Brunel University is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable individual to join our team as a Lecturer in Art Psychotherapy. This role will play a pivotal part in supporting academic activities within the Arts and Health subject area. Brunel is dedicated to fostering excellence in both education and research, and we are looking for a candidate who shares our commitment to advancing the field of Art Psychotherapy.
Role and Responsibilities
As a Lecturer in Art Psychotherapy, you will contribute significantly to the enrichment of our Arts and Health curriculum. Your role will centre on delivering research-oriented teaching, with a particular emphasis on arts and health. You will engage students in dynamic learning experiences, equipping them with the skills and knowledge needed to excel in the field.

Given the evolving nature of the discipline, you must be agile in keeping up with industry trends and embracing change as the subject area develops. You will also facilitate connections with healthcare and community settings through your teaching and/or practical involvement.
Effective communication skills are essential for engaging students and colleagues alike. Your passion for teaching and your expertise in art psychotherapy will be integral to your communications.
You will teach methods and develop pedagogies that reflect the latest research developments in academia and industry.
