We are seeking a Placement and Careers Consultant to deliver the placement programme and support students with career development.
The Alumni Community, Careers and Network Development team provides a comprehensive and integral student and alumni service, delivering a wide scope of entrepreneurship and career related experiences, as well as an international alumni programme.
Within this role, you will focus on providing wrap around support, working closely with students, academic staff, internal partnership provisions and external stakeholders, including employers, to ensure all placement opportunities are facilitated, developed, and supported. This will also mean working closely within the requirements of compliance and legislation.
In addition, you will contribute to, and project manage the continuous development and innovation of our placements strategy, expanding relationships with employers to increase opportunities for students. To be successful, you will have excellent stakeholder management skills, able to communicate effectively and build strong and supportive relationships. You will have a background of working with students (particularly international) and in utilising data analysis for reporting. Personalised education is what we do, and we believe that every student is unique and exceptional, so you’ll also have a strong interest in the student journey.
Interviews will likely be held on Monday 30th October 2023.
