An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Market Intelligence Officer to join our Performance and Insight Team, within the Strategy, Performance and Recruitment Directorate.

Sitting in the Planning, Performance and Quality Office, the Performance and Insight Team is a dynamic and growing team, responsible for providing oversight and leadership for performance monitoring and review processes across the University, co-ordinating strategic and operational planning processes, and leading on market insight and policy analysis to support the University Leadership and Faculties.

As a Market Intelligence Officer, you will play a pivotal role in providing market intelligence support to inform strategic decision-making, course portfolio development and student recruitment processes. You will collate, analyse, and interpret a wide range of data and perspectives, to gain insights into existing and potential student markets, competitors, customer behaviour, and jobs and skills demand, and support evidence-based decision-making within the University.

You will have the opportunity to conduct research on existing and potential UK and international markets, use statistical analysis to draw insightful and actionable conclusions, and support the development and review of a competitive academic portfolio.

With outstanding communication and collaboration skills, you will be able to work and liaise with colleagues and stakeholders across the whole organisation.

This role will suit a proactive individual with excellent analytical and data story-telling skills and the ability to critically interpret complex datasets, keen to develop and expand their knowledge and experience in market research within the HE sector.
