Trinity College is seeking to appoint an outstanding individual who brings broad and deep experience in managing and developing the College’s academic services and contributing to the strategic direction of the College’s educational provision.
Trinity College, founded in 1546 by Henry VIII, is the largest College in the University of Cambridge, with some 730 undergraduates, 340 graduate students, over 190 Fellows and around 350 non-academic staff. The beauty and size of Trinity’s historic buildings and courts attract visitors from all over the world, but the College is also a thriving, modern community, which exists to give its members a rewarding, richly resourced, and intellectually inspiring place in which to pursue their education and research.
The successful candidate will have the operational responsibility for the development, implementation and review of the College’s educational policies and academic administrative functions.

The successful candidate will have experience of leading, directing and managing projects within an educational setting, with the ability to use and implement analysis and reporting tools together with writing and presenting complex information for a variety of audiences. Knowledge and experience of the UK Higher Education environment and of statutory and regulatory requirements is essential, preferably within an intercollegiate environment. Experience of leading and motivating a team is required.
The Head of Academic and Educational Services will work alongside the Head of Tutorial Services, who is responsible for providing the services to students and tutors, in terms of student records, grants, awards, prizes and student communication channels.
