About the role
Led by the priorities of the University of Sussex Business School and CEE, you will build new – and expand existing – employer relationships for the purpose of developing the employability of Business School students. You will provide expert advice and insight to employers about how to engage with the University’s in- and extra-curricular programmes to meet their hiring (or other partnership) objectives, making recommendations to colleagues on how to maximise employer engagement.
About you
We are seeking candidates with excellent working knowledge of external stakeholder engagement, who are action-oriented with the skills and drive to tenaciously deliver on targets. Able to initiate new and expand existing external partnerships, you will be well organised, with the interpersonal skills to swiftly build rapport and effectively influence colleagues and external stakeholders.
About our Division
Our Student Experience is all about our students. We work diligently to ensure that all of our students are supported and have positive meaningful experiences at the University. We are led by our Student Experience Director and her Leadership team. Our services focus on Academic Quality, Student Data & Records, Careers & Entrepreneurship, Advice & Guidance, Complaints & Conduct, and Student Wellbeing. We work collaboratively with our Schools and Divisions to ensure our students have an environment that further enhances their potential and equips them to pursue their goals and aspirations.

We have dedicated cycling paths and encourage our staff to cycle to work with our offering of a cycle to work scheme.
