The College has an exciting opportunity within its Services Team for a highly motivated Technical Manager for the Department of Health Sciences to lead its complete technical service. The Department conducts teaching and research in several areas of allied health professions, nursing, social work, public health, health promotion and health economics. Based in the Mary Seacole building, the department boasts state-of-the-art facilities, including a simulated hospital ward; clinical skills training rooms; a large rehabilitation training space; research facilities; a brand-new immersive room; kitchen facilities for student training; and simulated mental health facilities. We also have exciting plans for further growth in the coming years.
As the Technical Manager for the department, you will play a pivotal role in developing, managing, and overseeing all its technical facilities and operations. Your primary objective will be to ensure that all staff, students, and visitors have an exceptional experience, while ensuring the effectiveness, efficiency, and compliance of all activities within your domain.
This position is ideal for an experienced technician with knowledge of supporting clinical teaching activities (including clinical simulation), who is looking to take on more responsibilities.
