We are a world-leading quality agency with unmatched experience of providing impartial regulatory and collaborative quality assurance and enhancement. We support universities and colleges in working with students and learners, governments, funders and regulatory bodies to evidence and enhance the excellent quality and high standards of the education they provide.
We work towards a greater public understanding - domestically and internationally - of how excellent quality is demonstrated in UK higher education, and how autonomous providers both assure its delivery and address weaknesses. Our work safeguards the value of qualifications for students and learners, and protects and promotes the reputation of higher education.
About the role
Our Quality Enhancement and Standards Specialists are responsible for leading pieces of work and creating imaginative resources or events that will help our diverse membership community deliver a high-quality experience for their students. Examples include work to promote our competence-based education materials or delivering our Assessment Festival.
We are looking for someone with an academic or academic-related background. You should have experience of designing and leading degree provision and/or training programmes for a higher education audience. We would like to see experience of supporting the enhancement of policy and practices in your organisation with clear potential to extend that to higher education sector level.
It's important that you have excellent communication skills including the ability to create imaginative, useful materials for busy academic staff and present them to a variety of audiences. You may have experience of constructing resources for audiences to engage in digital, film and/or web formats. You will have a keen interest in quality assurance and enhancement and a good knowledge of sector-wide reference points including the UK Quality Code and its associated advice and guidance. In addition, you will have experience of working with the English regulatory and quality arrangements for higher education.
More information can be found in the job description. If you would like an informal conversation about this role with Dr Ailsa Crum, Director of Membership, Quality Enhancement and Standards, please contact email@example.com.
Only applications with attached CV's and cover letters will be considered for the role.
