This role is a secondment cover for 14 months.
We are looking to recruit an experienced marketing & communications manager into a temporary post based in the central Communications and Marketing team.
The Marketing and Communications Manager has responsibility for shaping and delivering effective marketing strategies and plans for the College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences (CAHSS), which will deliver against our student recruitment objectives. Alongside student recruitment, the marketing and communications manager must also take a proactive lead in increasing brand awareness and reputation of the University, to prospective students.
The postholder will work closely with the rest of the CAHSS Marketing and Communications team, as well as colleagues in the central Communications and Marketing team and staff in CAHSS schools to develop integrated marketing and communications plans to ensure programmes meet recruitment targets in key global markets.
The preferred candidate will have significant experience of the marketing and communication mix, including strategy development, social media, email marketing, digital advertising and content development. You will be an excellent communicator and have previous experience of running multi-channel marketing and communications campaigns, preferably in relation to student recruitment. Candidates must also demonstrate effective stakeholder management skills.
