About the Role

Are you an experienced Senior Delivery Manager looking for a new and exciting opportunity? Look no further! We are seeking not one, but two Senior Delivery Managers to join our team as we embark on a journey of digital transformation and growth.

In this role, you will work closely with our Delivery Lead and Head of Delivery Management to optimize the delivery of projects, products, and services using both agile and waterfall methodologies. As a Senior Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the delivery of large, complex programs, projects, products, and services, and will be expected to directly manage the most complex and contentious activities.

You will use both agile and waterfall methodologies to ensure successful execution, meet defined business objectives, and enhance operational efficiency. You will oversee multiple agile and scrum teams, and lead and support colleagues in the planning, implementation, and continuous improvement of products and projects.

As a Senior Delivery Manager, you will play a crucial role in stakeholder engagement, liaising with Senior Officer teams and academics across the University to ensure timely and effective delivery of projects, programs, and releases. You will also manage relationships with third-party suppliers, ensuring alignment with the University’s processes and monitoring SLAs, escalation procedures, and configuration management issues.

This is a unique opportunity to make a real impact on how Warwick meets the needs of students and staff as we deliver the University’s digital and growth strategies. So, if you're ready to take your career to the next level, apply now and join our team!

We will consider applications for employment on a part-time or other flexible working basis, even where a position is advertised as full-time, unless there are operational or other objective reasons why it is not possible to do so.

About You

As a Senior Delivery Manager, you are an expert in your field, with a wealth of knowledge and experience at your disposal. Your role is critical to the success of large, complex programs, projects, products, and services, as you are responsible for overseeing and optimizing their delivery.

You are a master of both agile and waterfall methodologies, and can expertly utilize them to ensure that all projects are executed successfully and meet defined business objectives, while enhancing operational efficiency.

In addition to your technical expertise, you are also a natural leader, able to inspire and support your colleagues in the planning, implementation, and continuous improvement of products and projects. You have a hands-on approach, and can manage even the most complex and contentious activities with ease, while advising scrum masters and other junior members of the team in agile practices.

Overall, you are an invaluable asset to any organization, bringing a unique blend of technical expertise, leadership skills, and practical experience to every project you undertake.
