The University of Glasgow has an exciting opportunity for a Lecturer in Medical Genetics and Genomics within the School of Medicine, Dentistry & Nursing.
The School is renowned for pioneering teaching methods and superb facilities for undergraduate and postgraduate study; It is one of the largest and most prestigious Undergraduate Medical Schools in Europe and is leading the UK with one of the most important innovations in the teaching of medicine - a unique undergraduate curriculum that utilises problem-based learning techniques.
The School of Medicine, Dentistry & Nursing is part of the College of Medical, Veterinary and Life Sciences. It contains the Dental School, School of Nursing & Health Care, Undergraduate Medical School and Forensic Medicine & Science. The School of Medicine is located between the University and Hospital sites including the Wolfson Medical School Building, the New Lister Building at Glasgow Royal Infirmary and since 2015, the Teaching & Learning Centre at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.
The postholder will contribute to the delivery of an excellent student experience by delivering, organising and reviewing teaching, assessment and administration processes associated with postgraduate programmes and to undertake scholarship to enhance learning and teaching in the School of Medicine, Dentistry & Nursing.
This post is part time (14 hrs per week) and open ended.
