The role
The University of Bristol Business School is seeking to appoint a Senior Student Administrator within the undergraduate team. The postholder will work closely with the Senior Student Administrators (UG), Deputy Student Administration Manager (DSAM) and Student Administration Manager (SAM) and be responsible for the Undergraduate student support process.
What will you be doing?
The successful candidate should possess a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, as well as excellent organisational and communication skills as they will be dealing with a wide range of colleagues (Professional Services Staff, Academic Staff, including Personal/Senior Tutors, Central Services), alongside the students themselves, on a daily basis.
The post holder will also be expected to supervise members of the team and lead on certain aspects of the education cycle, such as the Extenuating Circumstances process, and assist the DSAM/SAM with exam board preparation.

We are looking for someone who is committed to the student experience with an ability to take initiative and be proactive and flexible in their approach to work. Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks to meet often-conflicting deadlines is a must. You must be willing and able to deal directly with students engaging with them around aspects of welfare, attendance, assessment support, progression and signposting to the University’s wellbeing service.
