We are looking to appoint a Student Recruitment Officer to work within our Marketing Team. The role will include liaising with high schools to establish, maintain and develop links between Bury College and target schools.
You will be responsible for the development and delivery of high school events. This will include you to deliver effective and inspiring presentations to school pupils, parents and other influencers as required as well as deliver effective and inspiring presentations to Bury College students to support progression onto Bury College University Centre. You will be responsible for the accuracy, appropriateness and language used in high school presentations and promotions, liaising with other areas of the college as necessary in order to do so.
You will represent the college at events and activities, e.g. at high schools, Open Evenings, Results Days, external activities and manage the positive reputation of the college through production and publication of engaging, targeted and well-written copy for use across all communication channels.
You will have a Higher-Level qualification (e.g. Level 4, Degree, HND, HNC etc.) in a related subject (or willingness to work towards), experience of working with staff within schools and colleges and representing organisations in a wide range of situations. You will have the ability to produce accurate and well written work for a wide range of communication purposes and set, monitor and achieve challenging targets under pressure and to deadlines. You should have a good standard of education including Maths and English Grade A* - C (or equivalent) or Level 2 Literacy and Numeracy.
