About the Role
The Alzheimer’s Society Doctoral Training Centre for Integrated Care (ICare-DTC) led by Prof Nathan Davies and Prof Claudia Cooper as co-director brings together five leading institutions in dementia care research: QMUL, UCL, LSE, Leeds Beckett University and University of Plymouth. ICare-DTC has funding for 29 PhD student over 8 years, with a new cohort each year for five years. Our first student cohort will start in October 2025. Our central theme is integrating dementia care, across health, care, and community sectors, primary and secondary care, from diagnosis to end-of-life. We will support and nurture 29 talented future dementia research leaders and develop capacity in research supervision.
About You
The successful candidate will have a good undergraduate degree in a related field. They will have experience in recruitment of staff and or students through HR and student services. They should have a background in academic administration and research with a working experience in learning and development teams or projects.

The Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry offers international excellence in research and teaching and supports clinical service for a population of unrivalled ethnic diversity in East London and the wider Thames Gateway.
Working with six NHS Trust partners in East London, the Faculty is central to delivering impact on health-related challenges for local and global populations; it has a strong commitment to public engagement through its pioneering science education centre in Whitechapel, The Centre of the Cell.

The post is based at the Whitechapel in London. It is part time (21-28 hours per week), fixed term for 3 years, with an expected start date of 1st January 2025. The starting salary will be Grade 5, (£42,205 - £44,722) per annum (pro-rata), inclusive of London Allowance.
