We are seeking an ambitious individual who can develop their global project and trial management career with us, working as part of an inclusive, supportive team within women’s health research. The role offers wide-ranging opportunities for personal and professional development in project and trial management, and we welcome applicants with relevant experience in supporting women’s health research with clinical trial elements across the lifecycle and/or with direct trial coordination experience within large scale clinical trial projects.
The post will directly support and lead the management if the MRC funded ‘C-safe trial’. This programme will run until August 2027 and aims to improve mother and baby outcomes following caesarean sections (C-sections) in low- and middle- income countries (LMICs). The role will oversee the co-ordination of the trial in partnership with the in-country teams, and will be responsible for successful project delivery. The role will involve national travel for co-applicants meetings and international travel to India and Tanzania. Where appropriate there will be the opportunity for the selected candidate to undertake some research elements of the project. We invite applicants with strong experience in supporting research in an academic setting. You should be qualified to degree level or equivalent.
This is a fixed term post until 31st August 2027.
