The School is one of the largest centres for built environment education in the UK, we bring together outstanding facilities, superb teaching and excellent colleagues. We currently rank 1st in the UK for both Architecture and Building [Complete University Guide 2026] and 8th in the UK for Civil Engineering [Guardian League Table 2026].
This post offers an opportunity for an enterprising administrator to support the delivery of our research and innovation strategy within the School of Architecture, Building and Civil Engineering including supporting Centres for Doctoral Training (CDT). The post holder will be part of the School Postgraduate Research Admin Team.
Applicants must be educated to at least A-level or equivalent standard and have experience of working in a student, or other customer-focussed, environment and have excellent interpersonal, organisational, and written communication skills.
The appointment will be 0.8 FTE on an open-ended contract. Salary will be on Administrative Services Grade 5 (£29,588- £34,610 pro-rata per annum) at a starting salary commensurate with experience and qualifications.
