Childlight is looking to appoint a highly-motivated Web Development and Application Specialist responsible for consulting on, designing and delivering a number of key Childlight operational and public-facing web applications.
The Opportunity:
Childlight, a groundbreaking global child safety institute, has been established and embedded within the University of Edinburgh to take a data driven, evidence-based approach to better understand the prevalence and nature of child sexual exploitation and abuse (CSEA) globally. This data and analysis is used by policy makers and practitioners across the world to make better informed decisions to safeguard children.
The role requires working with the Childlight research teams globally to construct flagship Childlight projects including our Into The Light global CSEA prevalence index and our Searchlight reports in a highly-engaging and accessible manner, and developing and maintaining the Childlight website.
This post is full-time (35 hours per week) and fixed-term until 30th April 2027.
