Oxford Lifelong Learning in the Department for Continuing Education is seeking to appoint an administrative officer working in the area of Research Ethics and Postgraduate Programme support.

About the role

The role will be responsible for supporting postgraduate research work across the department, with areas of responsibility divided across research ethics, postgraduate programme support and research development. The role will support the Departmental Research Ethics Committee (DREC) Chair and manage the relevant committee business. This role will also oversee the Postgraduate (PGR)/Graduate School administrative team, as well as attending and contributing to relevant departmental committees, and liaising with other University committees as needed. You will have experience of working confidentially, with the ability to exercise an appropriate level of discretion. You will need a good level of numeracy, with experience producing and evaluating data. A high level of accuracy as well as an ability to manage a varied workload will also be essential to this role.
