About the Role
The Nature Medicine Commission on Data-Driven Prevention and Management of Obesity will bring together leading international experts to develop next-generation evidence-based tools to help health professionals deliver more personalised, effective and equitable obesity prevention and care. The Commission will seek to develop clinical decision-support systems to improve obesity prevention and treatment worldwide.
This is a critical post to provide the stable infrastructure required to deliver the Commission with the opportunity to combine this with independent research in a related field.
About You
The appointee will play a substantial role in supporting all aspects of management of the Commission, in particular developing and implementing an international governance structure, coordinating working groups and other contributors globally, working with the Leads to deliver the Commissions aims and engaging a range of stakeholders across multiple sectors.
The role requires a high standard of written and verbal communication in English, building and maintaining relationships with international stakeholders and leading all financial aspects of the Commission.
The post holder will support the coordination of the analysis-led international programme and contribute to the intellectual life of PHURI and wider institution through their own research.
