The University of Lincoln is seeking to appoint a Senior Infrastructure Analyst with skills in Identity and Access Management to join its ICT Services department. The University has recently invested in an IAM solution based on IBM’s IGI platform and this is an exciting opportunity to help develop and support the new Identity and Access Management service. You will be involved in the design, implementation and administration of the service as it is deployed across the University.

To be considered for this role, candidates should understand the basic principles of IAM, benefits of role-based access control and the advantages of automating the Joiner, Mover and Leaver (JML) processes.

Main Responsibilities:

You will provide support and management of the IAM service, develop new automations within the IAM software. This would include new integrations with the IAM service for end systems.
Continual development of the JML processes as the University changes.
Reporting and auditing of identities within the IAM solution and acting on any issues that do not conform to University policy.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills engaging with stake holders at all levels of the University. You will also be expected to manage relationships between The University and other third parties such as suppliers and other Universities and business partners.

The candidate will perform Business as Usual support covering incidents, problems and requests, have solid problem-solving skills, professional demeanor, willingness to contribute at all levels, strong technical skills, ability to multi-task with excellent customer services skills.

Essential skills and experience in performing the role:

•Knowledge of business application processes and databases.
•Knowledge of Visual Studio and PowerShell for the development automations between systems.  

You should also have working knowledge of managing a Windows Active Directory and Azure AD environments, authentication and authorisation principles and well as credential/password management processes.

Desirable skills and experience in performing the role:

•In-depth experience with a large and complex infrastructure environment.
•Experience of Windows Servers.
•Experience of cloud-based technologies with an emphasis on Microsoft Azure.
•Knowledge of other scripting and automation languages would be a bonus.
•Knowledge of Java.
