Development and Alumni
This maternity cover is open to anyone. For current University of Edinburgh employees a secondment arrangement is welcomed. Ideally, the preferred candidate will be in post for 12 months from approximately late September.
The University of Edinburgh is looking to recruit an organised, motivated and customer focused Training and Development Officer to join its dedicated and successful Development and Alumni Services Team within the Development and Alumni department (D&A).
The Development and Alumni department exists to build a network of friends and supporters throughout the world, building long-term relationships with our alumni and supporters, by creating imaginative alumni and fundraising programmes and events, and working in partnership with all areas of the University.
As expectations of, and demand for our services grows, so does the need to deliver efficient and effective solutions that support Development and Alumni objectives, the University’s digital transformation strategy and conform to evolving sector policies and regulations.
You will have excellent IT skills and experience of designing and delivering software and business training, measuring the effectiveness of these, and ensuring that organisational objectives are met. You will be responsible for identifying staff training and development needs, and for planning, organising and overseeing appropriate training. You will also support the Services team in identifying business needs and determining solutions to business problems.
This is a full time (35 hours per week), 12 month maternity cover post.
We anticipate that interviews will take place during the week commencing 19th August.
