About the role:
As Systems Analyst, you will be responsible for developing and implementing mission-critical services and related infrastructure for over 20,000 users within the technical IT specialism of enterprise-scale IT systems deployment and management, in particular supporting the University's Enterprise Data Warehouse infrastructure on AWS. This includes multi-disciplinary, specialist understanding of physical and virtual infrastructures, directory services, Unix-like, Microsoft, web services, application delivery control and security.
You will have significant experience of automating, deploying, optimising and maintaining on-premise and cloud based services working with a diverse range of teams and be able to support colleagues with escalated issues.

This is a full time, fixed term post for 12 months.

You are experienced at championing process automation and system orchestration across the stack with strong, multi-language scripting skills.
You have experience in designing, building and implementing hardware and software including servers, storage and operating systems across the enterprise. This incorporates troubleshooting performance issues, traffic analysis and capacity planning.
You have experience at developing, managing and administrating the organisations central systems and related infrastructure in the cloud, physically and virtually.
