Focusing on the essential monitoring of students throughout various stages of learning, you will be proactively managing and reporting on important records across all areas of our business. What you’ll be doing

  • Developing a detailed knowledge of BPP’s regulatory framework and programmes
  • Auditing offer validity made by the Admissions Department to prospective students
  • Proactively managing the matriculation process to all essential deadlines
  • Assisting in organising the student registration process at University sites
  • Liaising with admissions and academic staff to facilitate prior learning accreditation process
  • Processing changes to the student record from staff, faculty, and various departments
  • Monitoring and reporting interruptions of study, transfers, suspensions, and withdrawals
  • Re-registering students progressing including monitoring student module choices student
  • Reporting student data including registration, organisational membership, and attendance
  • Creating and developing basic reports using appropriate end-user tools
  • Assisting set-up and maintenance of the new student information system
  • Managing programme-specific variations to standard processes

What we’re looking for

  • Knowledge of Higher Education sector
  • Strong administrative experience (preferably in education)
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Good problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to change
  • Self-motivated with an ability to thrive under pressure
  • Customer-focused with the strong communication skills
  • Good IT skills
  • Ideally educated to a degree level – relevant work experience will also be considered
  • Knowledge of Tier 4 immigration legislation with regards to enrolment and attendance
  • Experience of working with a recognised Student Records Database and/or relevant systems
